You Win Some, You Lose Some

I’ve heard that in the old days, broadcasts were made using props and Western Union messages. I think Vin Scully should call road games from a studio looking at the television feed. It would improve the quality of the broadcasts. I feel trapped, listening to Ross Porter reading all the meaningless trivia, knowing that Rick Monday will be worse. I think a mime would be better than those two.

The first few years, Rick Monday tried to be smooth. But since then I think he does a fine job, I really enjoy it when he injects stories from the past to go along with his broadcast of the game. I also love Ross Porter’s endless stats!
