Re “Stinkys and All” (March 23): Rather than “the latest in a series of far-flung outdoor social experiments” the Rainbow Gatherings are one of the oldest, and their “social experiment” is meditating for world peace on the day of the equinox. A “strange activity”? I am proud to be the mother of a Rainbow Kid.
