A ferry missing after being caught in a cyclone off the Indian Ocean island of Madagascar sank with all but two of its 113 passengers and crew trapped inside, port authorities said.
The two survivors told officials in Mahajanga that the ship capsized Sunday night and that they made it to shore the next day on a makeshift raft. The drownings brought the death toll to 154 from Cyclone Gafilo, which collapsed bridges, toppled trees and reduced tarred roads to gravel.
