Fatal Freeway Crash in Simi

A 24-year-old motorist was killed Thursday morning in a crash on the Ronald Reagan Freeway in Simi Valley, authorities said.
David John Klinzing of Sherman Oaks was killed in the 10:15 a.m. accident, which occurred in the westbound lanes of the freeway near Alamos Canyon Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Klinzing was severely injured when his sedan collided with a large commercial truck. He was transported to Simi Valley Hospital where he later died, authorities said.
