Regarding the article “Picking Nits With Frank Deford” (by Glenn F. Bunting, Jan. 11), what a splendid expose! The Times’ resources could not have been used more wisely. Soon, I hope, Bunting and his researchers will turn to a similar, if less demanding, project. That is, when will the speeches, statements, announcements, musings, observations and remarks of George W. Bush be examined to determine if he has ever told the truth as president of the United States? I await the results of your investigation.
