Brandon L. Davis, 20, of Cumberland, Md.; private, Army. Davis was one of five soldiers killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device struck their armored personnel carrier in Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Richard L. Ferguson, 45, of Conway, N.H.; master sergeant, Army. Ferguson was killed Tuesday when the military vehicle he was riding in rolled over in Samarra, Iraq. He was assigned to the 10th Special Forces Group at Ft. Carson, Colo.

Jeremiah J. Holmes, 27, of North Berwick, Maine; specialist, Army National Guard. Holmes was killed Monday when his vehicle struck an improvised explosive device and fell from a bridge near Balad, Iraq. He was assigned to the 744th Transportation Company, Army National Guard in Hillsboro, N.H.

Doyle M. Hufstedler, 25, of Abilene, Texas; first lieutenant, Army. Hufstedler was one of five soldiers killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device struck their armored personnel carrier in Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Dennis Jallah Jr., 49, of Fayetteville, N.C.; command sergeant major, Army. Jallah died March 28 of a noncombat cause at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., where he had been medically evacuated from Afghanistan via Landstuhl, Germany, on Feb. 16. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 10th Aviation Regiment, 10th Aviation Brigade, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry) at Ft. Drum, N.Y.

Michael G. Karr Jr., 23, of San Antonio; specialist, Army. Karr was one of five soldiers killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device struck their armored personnel carrier in Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Sean R. Mitchell, 24, of Youngsville, Pa.; specialist, Army. Mitchell was one of five soldiers killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device struck their armored personnel carrier in Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Cleston C. Raney, 20, of Rupert, Idaho; private first class, Army. Raney was one of five soldiers killed Wednesday when an improvised explosive device struck their armored personnel carrier in Habbaniyah, Iraq. He was assigned to the 1st Engineer Battalion, 1st Brigade, 1st Infantry Division at Ft. Riley, Kan.

Leroy Sandoval Jr., 21, of Houston; private first class, Marine Corps. Sandoval was killed March 26 by enemy gunfire in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.

Sean M. Schneider, 22, of Janesville, Wis.; private first class, Army. Schneider was killed Monday in a vehicle accident near Baghdad. He was assigned to the 115th Forward Support Battalion at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Dustin M. Sekula, 18, of Edinburg, Texas; private first class, Marine Corps. Sekula died Thursday of injuries suffered during enemy gunfire in Al Anbar province, Iraq. He was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Twentynine Palms.

Wentz Jerome Henry Shanaberger III, 33, of Naples, Fla.; staff sergeant, Army. Shanaberger was killed March 24 when he was investigating a suspicious vehicle in Iraq and came under attack by individuals using small arms and an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 21st Military Police Company, 16th Military Police Brigade, XVIIIth Airborne Corps at Ft. Bragg, N.C.

William R. Strange, 19, of Adrian, Ga.; private first class, Army. Strange was killed Friday when an improvised explosive device detonated as he was setting up an observation point in Baghdad. He was assigned to the 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, Texas.

Timothy Toney, 37, of Manhattan, N.Y.; master sergeant, Marine Corps. Toney died March 27 in a noncombat-related incident at Camp Wolverine, Kuwait. He was assigned to Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force at Camp Pendleton.
