Blair Defends Iraq War in Speech to Labor Party

Prime Minister Tony Blair defended the campaign to topple Iraqi President Saddam Hussein in an address to his Labor Party in Bournemouth.
“Attack my decision, but at least understand why I took it” and would again, Blair said.
The speech drew a huge ovation but failed to silence critics. “Where was the regret that there is no evidence of weapons of mass destruction?” asked party member Mick Moriarty.
