Former MGM executive Lindsley Parsons, Jr. is expected to be named interim president of the Entertainment Industry Development Corp. when its executive committee meets Monday, according to several sources.
Plans reportedly call for Parsons, 72, to serve the agency, which issues film permits, for only six months. He will not be eligible for the permanent position to replace former President Cody Cluff, who resigned in the midst of an investigation into whether he misused corporate funds.
Parsons, former president of Lucas Digital Ltd., served for eight years on the California Film Commission.
