Woman May Have Made a Record Catch

A Santa Rosa woman could reel in major endorsement dollars over a whale of a fish story.
Leaha Trew has a picture of a bass she caught that is estimated to have weighed in at nearly 23 pounds.
She caught the giant fish last August in Sonoma County’s Spring Lake, then released it. But her son took a picture before she threw it back.
Now the bass is being considered for the all-time world heavyweight title for largemouth bass by the International Game Fish Assn.
Experts in the fishing world say Trew could become instantly famous if the association bites on her story.
