Garden Grove Man, 18, Held in Woman’s Rape

An 18-year-old Garden Grove man was arrested Saturday in connection with the rape of a Huntington Beach woman who was doing her laundry at an apartment complex.
Allen G. Plumb was taken into custody after officers executed search warrants at residences in Garden Grove and Huntington Park, said Police Lt. Janet Perez. He was wanted in connection with the Aug. 4 rape of a 24-year-old woman at Harbour Lights Apartments. Plumb was booked on suspicion of rape, robbery and kidnapping, and was being held on $250,000 bail at Huntington Beach City Jail.
