1 Man Killed, 1 Wounded in Car-to-Car Shooting

Authorities were searching late Saturday for a gunman who killed one man and wounded another in a car-to-car shooting.
Police issued a citywide alert to all officers to look for a small white vehicle with a window shot out. Detectives said someone in the car fired at least three bullets at the men in the other car about 10:30 a.m. after angry words were exchanged in the 13000 block of Cumpston Street.
The wounded men drove to Hazeltine Avenue and Burbank Boulevard. One died there and the other was hospitalized.
