Four Oxnard residents were arrested over the weekend on heroin-related charges following a two-month investigation by local authorities.
Martin Manzo, 39, Maria Rincon, 32, Sergio Solorzano, 36, and Ruth Guzman, 19, were booked Saturday at County Jail on suspicion of selling and transporting controlled substances, authorities said.
Solorzano and Guzman also were being held on suspicion of child endangerment for leaving an infant in the car during a drug sale, Sheriff’s Sgt. Bob Garcia said.
Manzo and Rincon were arrested in the 1700 block of Victoria Avenue in Ventura, after police found heroin in their vehicle, Garcia said.
Solorzano and Guzman were arrested at their homes in Oxnard. Altogether, police seized a gun, scales, $1,600 in cash, and drugs with an estimated street value of $29,000, Garcia said.
The arrests followed a joint investigation by the Ventura County Sheriff’s Department and the Ventura Police Department.
