Flier Admits Crashing Through Cockpit Door

An airline passenger who was subdued by an ax-wielding pilot after crashing through a cockpit door pleaded guilty in Miami to interfering with a flight crew, federal prosecutors said.
Pablo Moreira Mosca, a 29-year-old banker from Uruguay, faces up to 20 years in prison when sentenced Sept. 16 for the Feb. 7 incident aboard United Airlines Flight 855, U.S. Atty. Guy Lewis said.
Investigators said Moreira, who was unarmed, had no known ties to any terrorist group but had consumed some whiskey before boarding the flight.
