Man Suspected of Killing Mom Arrested at Border

A man suspected of killing his mother was arrested as he tried to cross the border into Mexico, police said.
Sean Markham, 38, was arrested Thursday by customs officers at the Otay Mesa, Calif., checkpoint.
On Jan. 16, Markham reported to police that his mother, Cheryl Markham, 54, was missing. The next day, officers found her body in her bedroom. She had been dead about a week, they said.
