Pedestrian Killed Crossing Harbor Blvd.

A pedestrian in a crosswalk was fatally injured when he was struck by a pickup, police said.
Peter Hannawan, 43, was crossing Harbor Boulevard at Merrimac Street about 6 a.m. Tuesday when he was hit, Costa Mesa police Sgt. Don Holford said. He was taken to Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian, where he died about an hour later, Holford said.
