School District to Crack Down on Bullies,” March 13: If every school board in California passed a policy that punishes campus bullying as harshly as bringing a knife or bottle of vodka to school, the victims at Santana High School, including the shooter, will not have suffered in vain. Finally the root cause of these school shootings is being addressed.
