A $25,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of five men who raped two Tustin girls and beat their boyfriends, officials said Friday.
The girls, 13 and 15, were with 16- and 17-year-old boys from Mission Viejo in a remote area about 2 a.m. Tuesday when they were attacked, police said. The 17-year-old boy remains hospitalized in serious condition, police said.
Orange County Sheriff Mike Carona said investigators collected fingerprints and DNA evidence, and are reviewing surveillance tape from the Block in Orange, where the teens met before driving to Black Star Canyon, where they were attacked.
The reward is being offered by an anonymous donor. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff’s Department at (714) 647-4002.
