Huntington Beach Rallies to Beat Edison

Gordon Kljestan scored on a rebound in the 68th minute to give eighth-ranked Huntington Beach a 2-1 victory over Edison in a Sunset League boys’ soccer game Wednesday.
Kljestan’s goal broke a 1-1 tie. Drew McAthy scored his eighth goal of the season in the first half for the Oilers (7-2-1, 1-0).
In other Sunset League games:
No. 9 Esperanza 2, Fountain Valley 1--Chris Smith scored two goals for host Esperanza (9-1-3, 1-0).
Los Alamitos 3, Marina 0--Eddie Wertenbroek, Michael Munoz and Josh Eisenberg scored for Los Alamitos (10-1-3, 1-0).
In the Academy League:
St. Margaret’s 3, Fairmont 0--Ryan Bircher, Jake Bullock and Colin Ozonian all scored in the last 15 minutes for St. Margaret’s (7-6-1, 2-0).
In the Freeway League:
La Habra 3, Buena Park 2--Armando Guerra scored in the 80th minute off a crossing pass from Jose Jaramillo. Alvino Vasquez and Jaramillo each scored a goal in the first half for La Habra (6-3-3, 1-0).
Sonora 2, Sunny Hills 2--Nick Ross scored with 15 seconds left in regulation for the Raiders (8-3-1, 0-0-1), who also received a goal from Pat Newton. Mario Quesada scored twice for Sunny Hills (3-7-2, 0-0-1).
In the Garden Grove League:
La Quinta 5, Bolsa Grande 3--John Gauthier led La Quinta (4-6-1, 2-1-1) with three goals, one on a header.
In the Orange League:
Savanna 1, Anaheim 0--Ronnie Castaneda scored in the ninth minute for Savanna.
Magnolia 5, Western 2--Brandon Olvera scored two goals for Magnolia (6-3-2, 1-0).
In the Pacific Coast League:
Estancia 2, Costa Mesa 0--Javier Millan and Juan Zarate scored in the second half to lead Estancia (5-2-3, 1-0).
In the Serra League:
No. 2 Mater Dei 3, Servite 1--Matt Fennell had a goal and an assist for visiting Mater Dei (18-1-2, 1-0).
Santa Margarita 6, Bellflower St. John Bosco 0--Junior Matt Holtrust scored three goals for third-ranked Santa Margarita (15-3-2, 1-0).
In the South Coast League:
No. 6 Capistrano Valley 0, San Clemente 0--Zach Mickelson made three saves for the visiting Cougars (13-2-3, 0-0-1), who outshot the Tritons, 20-7. San Clemente is 3-4-6, 0-0-1.
No. 8 Dana Hills 4, Mission Viejo 3--Simon Offord, a senior forward, scored the game-winner in the final minute off an assist from Forrest Smith, who scored two goals for Dana Hills (13-1-2, 1-0).
Trabuco Hills 1, El Toro 1--Ryan Ninke of visiting Trabuco Hills and Dennis Giakos of El Toro each scored in the first half.
