Malibu Acquires Another Hollywood V.I.P.

TIMES STAFF WRITER

Actress Pamela Anderson has purchased a Malibu home for about $1.8 million.

The former “Baywatch” regular, who stars in the syndicated action series “V.I.P.,” had been renting a nearby beach home at $16,000 a month.

The house that she purchased was built in 1959 but has been remodeled. Anderson, 33, plans to further rehab the property.

The house has three bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in about 2,300 square feet. It also has a large yard for her sons.

Judy Van Schoyck of Coldwell Banker (Fred Sands), Malibu, had the listing on the house that Anderson purchased, and Danny Nathanson of Prudential John Aaroe, Beverly Hills, represented Anderson, other sources said.

He had lived in the country English-style house, built in 1925, for about eight years.

The home has four bedrooms in about 3,400 square feet. The property also has a pool. A young couple purchased the home.
