Valencia Entertainment Buys Half-Day Video

Valencia Entertainment/SBI Communications Inc. has purchased Half-Day Video Inc. of Burbank for $1.3 million in cash and stock. The acquisition also will give Valencia 30 acres of land on both coasts and over 250,000 square feet of commercial buildings, including 10 film and television production sound stages.

Valencia Entertainment is a conglomerate that includes television production for network and syndicate, motion pictures, sports, Internet and real estate holdings.

Half-Day Video rents film and television equipment and boasts a clientele that includes the Academy Awards, Emmy Awards, NBC, Entertainment Tonight and MTV.
