New Year’s Day Closings

* Mail: Post offices will be open Monday. They will be closed Tuesday and no mail will be delivered.
* Banks: Some banks will have shorter hours Monday. All banks and savings and loans are closed Tuesday.
* Courts: All courts are closed Tuesday.
* Schools: Closed.
* Government: All local, state and federal offices, except those providing emergency services, will be closed Tuesday.
* Transportation: SCAT buses and Metrolink trains will follow daily schedules Monday. No service Tuesday.
* Trash: Tuesday trash pickup will be delayed until Wednesday, and collections will be a day later through the week.
