Cal Lutheran’s Czernek Becomes Award Finalist

Cal Lutheran quarterback Chris Czernek is one of 10 finalists for the Gagliardi Trophy, given to the most outstanding player in NCAA Division III.

Czernek, a senior who attended Newbury Park High, ranked second nationally in total offense at 337.3 yards per game. He was chosen offensive player of the year in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
