Author and filmmaker Ken Wales will host a book signing and patriotic observance Sunday at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Camarillo.
Wales’ latest book, “Sea of Glory,” is a World War II story of four chaplains who gave their lives for the men aboard the troop transport Dorchester, which was sunk by a German U-boat on Feb. 3, 1943.
Wales is a faculty member at USC’s School of Cinema and Television and mentors young filmmakers.
The free event, which will include patriotic music and a ceremony honoring veterans, is scheduled for 3 p.m. at the church, on the corner of Las Posas Road and Antonio Avenue.
