City, Arab Council to Sponsor Festival

The Arab American Council and the city have signed a four-year agreement to hold an annual festival at Village Green Park.
The site, on Euclid Avenue just north of Garden Grove Boulevard, is where the city holds its annual Strawberry Festival.
Last year’s three-day Arab American Festival drew about 15,000 people. This year’s event, set for Sept. 21-23, will include booths and carnival rides, live entertainment and camel rides.
