A man in a blue fishing hat and sunglasses robbed an Oxnard bank Wednesday, authorities said.
The robbery was the second at the bank in the past 16 months, said FBI Special Agent Brett Robbins.
No one was injured in the robbery, which occurred about 2:30 p.m. at the Cal Fed bank at 2900 Saviers Road, Robbins said.
The robber handed a teller a note demanding cash and then fled on foot. Witnesses said he was in his 50s, heavyset and wearing blue pants.
He may have been the same man who robbed an American Commercial Bank on Main Street in Ventura on Aug. 10, Robbins said.
Wednesday’s robbery was the 16th countywide this year, Robbins said.
