Municipal planners are considering Verizon Wireless’ proposal to build the city’s eighth cellular network antenna at 1201 S. Beach Blvd.
Plans for the free-standing 52-foot-high antenna to be erected on the commercially zoned property will be presented to the Planning Commission on Oct. 9.
City Planner Scott Grabowski expects the plans to be approved and said the city is in the process of informing all those near the project.
