* Re “Rogan Clashes With Schiff on Health, Education at Forum,” Sept. 16: Why would the Regional Coalition of Government Review Councils, which sponsored the forum, allow only Democrats and Republicans to participate?

It’s really quite chilling to read about Libertarian candidate Ted Brown being refused an opportunity to discuss the issues in front of the voters and with his opponents. If you visualize all this in your mind’s eye and add a slight bit of depth to your focus, what you can see is a very clear picture of fascism. It really requires no imagination. All it requires is an absence of denial. Obviously, the message being sent is that there is only one choice, Democrat or Republican.
