Westlake is on the road today hoping to accomplish what it could not do at home last season--beat Clovis West.
The Warriors, ranked No. 9 in the state by Cal-Hi Sports, will play the No. 14 Golden Eagles at 7 p.m. at Buchanan High in Clovis.
Westlake lost, 15-0, last season and could be hard-pressed to keep Clovis West to a similar number of points. The Golden Eagles beat Richmond, 61-0, in their opener.
