Wet Seal’s Stock Climbs Amid Repurchase Plan

Wet Seal Inc. said Friday that it plans to buy back additional shares under a plan adopted two years ago to reacquire 10% of its stock, then about 13.6 million shares. The Foothill Ranch clothing and accessory retailer said in a news release that it has 788,000 shares remaining under the existing stock repurchase plan. Wet Seal’s stock gained 63 cents a share Friday to close at $14.63 a share in Nasdaq trading.
