De’Andre Scott, former Alemany running back, made his debut for St. Paul on Thursday night, rushing for 185 yards and scoring a touchdown in the Swordsmen’s 31-3 Del Rey League victory over Bishop Amat.
Next up for Scott is an intriguing encounter against his former teammates on Friday night, when Alemany plays at St. Paul.
“It’s just another game,” Scott told the Whittier Daily News. “I’ll be playing against my friends. It’s nothing personal.”
Alemany players might take it personally, considering Scott abandoned the team last week to transfer to St. Paul in the seventh week of the season.
