UC Irvine Wins Golf Tournament by 13 Shots

UC Irvine’s men’s golf team took first place at the intercollegiate tournament that concluded Tuesday at Wood Ranch Golf Club in Simi Valley.
The Anteaters won the 54-hole tournament by 13 shots, recording a total of 886.
UC Irvine sophomore Jeff Coburn was medalist with a 215, defeating Ian Lillibridge of Cal State Stanislaus on a playoff hole, Coburn parring and Lillibridge making bogie.
Anteater sophomore Ryan Armstrong finished fifth at 222.
