Clausen Going to LSU Early
Quarterback Rick Clausen of Taft High has decided to follow the path of his brother, Casey, and graduate in January so he can begin his college career in the spring at Louisiana State.
Casey graduated last January from Alemany so he could compete in spring practice at Tennessee. The decision paid off. He has become the starting quarterback as a freshman.
Rick took summer classes and increased his academic load so he can gain the necessary credits to leave Taft by Jan. 12 and begin classes at LSU on Jan. 20.
