Q: How can I see the International Space Station?
A: The next two times it will be visible from Los Angeles are Friday and Sunday mornings. Friday morning, it will be visible for less than a minute at 5:39. It will be almost due east at an elevation of about 12 degrees. On Sunday, it will be visible for nearly three minutes, beginning at 5:15 a.m. It will become visible at 210 degrees east of north and at an elevation of 11 degrees, moving to a final azimuth of 146 degrees east and an elevation of 51 degrees. It should be the brightest “star” in the sky. To calculate other sighting times or times from other locations, visit NASA’s Web site:
