College Graduate, 15, Upholds Family Tradition

TRENTON, N.J. — The cousin of Rutgers University’s youngest graduate is upholding an unusual family tradition.
Shant Sarkuni, 15, of Cranbury, graduated from Rutgers on Tuesday with bachelor’s degrees in math and computer sciences. His cousin, Hannes Sarkuni, became the university’s youngest graduate at age 14 in 1996. Hannes’ brother, Sehrope, graduated a year ago at 15. All earned highest honors.
Shant enrolled at 11 after completing seventh grade.
