Jay Montes of Sylmar shot a five-under-par 67 to take a five-stroke lead after 18 holes of the City Section golf championship at Griffith Park’s Harding course.
Today’s final round will be played on Griffith Park’s Wilson course.
Doo Kang of San Pedro is second at 72, Leif Hansen of Eagle Rock third at 73. There are three tied for fourth at 74, including defending champion Ed Turner of Palisades.
