Students from Rancho Alamitos High School earned 12 individual medals in the Orange County Academic Decathlon for freshmen and sophomores. Freshman Andrea Sulyanto received the third-place overall medal, along with second-place medals in music and social science categories. Other medal winners included Alyce Van, Lucy Tran, William Foley, Thanh Phan and Vladimir Campos.
