A 6-year-old boy in Michigan, under the influence of irresponsible adults, is too young to understand the magnitude of what he has done in shooting and killing a fellow student, while a 6-year-old boy in Florida, under the influence of self-serving relatives, is perfectly capable of understanding the ramifications of requesting political asylum in the United States.
