THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports over the weekend:

ANAHEIM

* Ball Road: Report of a hit and run of a parked car in the 9600 block at 4:02 p.m. Sunday.

* Athens Court: Vandalism was reported in the 8800 block at 9:46 a.m. Sunday.

* Harle Avenue: A car was reported stolen in the 9600 block at 8:52 a.m. Sunday.

BREA

* North Olive Avenue: Malicious mischief was reported in the 600 block at 10:10 a.m. Tuesday

COSTA MESA

* Irvine Avenue: A grand theft was reported in the 20300 block at 6:53 a.m. Saturday.

CYPRESS

* Avenida Grande: A suspicious person was reported in the 4500 block at 11:26 a.m. Thursday.

* Katella Avenue: A vehicle burglary was reported in the 6400 block at 6:34 p.m. Thursday.

DANA POINT

* La Paz Avenue: A report of vandalism was made in the 24600 block at 11:48 a.m. Sunday.

FULLERTON

* North Placentia Avenue: A burglar alarm went off in the 700 block at 3:48 a.m. Thursday.

GARDEN GROVE

* Nelson Street: A report of fraud in the 2000 block at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday.

HUNTINGTON BEACH

* Parkside Lane: A compact disc player and compact discs were stolen from an unlocked car parked in the 16200 block at 10:43 a.m. Tuesday.

* Sampson Lane: A motor home was burglarized in the 17800 block at 12:49 p.m. Tuesday.

IRVINE

* Marine Way: A burglar alarm went off in the 6600 block at 2:16 a.m. Saturday.

LAGUNA BEACH

* Pacific Coast Highway: A burglar alarm went off at 4:13 a.m. on the 8600 block Saturday.

LAGUNA NIGUEL

* Moulton Parkway: A report of suspicious circumstances in the 28400 block was made at 2:57 p.m. Sunday.

LA HABRA

* West Imperial Highway: A burglary was reported in the 1000 block at 10:38 a.m. Monday.

* North Russell Street: Police responded to a report of illegal solicitation in the 1000 block at 1:54 p.m. Monday.

LAKE FOREST

* Lake Forest Drive: Vandalism was reported on the 21400 block at 12:44 p.m. Sunday.

LA PALMA

* Brian Lane: A petty theft was reported in the 7300 block at 3:44 p.m. Thursday.

MISSION VIEJO

* Amber: A report of threats in the 27900 block was made at 2:58 p.m. Sunday.

ORANGE

* Prospect Street: A drunk driver was reported in the 12000 block at 9:43 a.m. Friday.

PLACENTIA

* South Rose Drive: A trailer was reported spray-painted at 3:09 p.m. Wednesday.

* Placentia Avenue at La Jolla Street: Two males tried to take someone to take someone’s money at 10:58 p.m. Wednesday.

RANCHO SANTA

MARGARITA

* Alma Aldea: A report of vandalism in the 22400 block was made at 1:39 p.m. Sunday.

SAN CLEMENTE

* Mariposa: An arrest warrant was served in the 200 block at 4:07 p.m. Sunday.

SAN JUAN CAPISTRANO

* Pas Mono: A report of a fraud in the 33100 block was made at 5:51 p.m. Sunday.

SANTA ANA

* Flower Street: A report of an auto theft in the 500 block was made at 12:22 p.m. on Thursday.

TUSTIN

* Theodora Drive: Vandalism was reported at 12:26 p.m. on the 18100 block Sunday.

VILLA PARK

* Mesa Drive: A robbery alarm was triggered in the 18000 block at 8:04 p.m. Thursday.

YORBA LINDA

* Yorba Ranch Road: Malicious mischief was reported at 1:14 a.m. Wednesday.

* Kern Street: A grand theft was reported in the 21800 block at 12:31 p.m. Wednesday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Buena Park, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Los Alamitos, Newport Beach, Seal Beach and Westminster.

Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
