THE SAFETY ZONE: ACTION LOG

The Times publishes a daily list of police incident reports provided by local law enforcement agencies. The Times prints items as soon as departments make them available. Because many departments release incident reports only weekly, not every community will be represented in each day’s Action Log. Authorities from the following cities released incident reports Tuesday:
BUENA PARK
* Beach Boulevard: A robbery was reported in the 7700 block at 5:41 a.m. Sunday.
* La Palma Avenue: A petty theft was reported in the 6900 block at 8:48 p.m. Thursday.
COSTA MESA
* Avocado Street: Vandalism was reported in the 300 block at 8:05 a.m. Monday.
DANA POINT
* Calle Maria: A teen was reported removing a surfboard leash and blanket from the bed of a pickup in the 26000 block at 12:20 a.m. Saturday. The items were found in a nearby bush.
* Pacific Coast Highway: A 43-year-old man was cited on suspicion of illegal camping in the 34000 block at 11 p.m. Saturday.
GARDEN GROVE
* Harbor Boulevard: A report of a bank robbery in the 12900 block on Friday. Two men gave a teller a note demanding cash and the teller gave them cash. The two left the bank and fled in a black Chevy Beretta with no license plates.
LOS ALAMITOS
* Catalina Street: A report of $10,031 worth of telecommunication equipment stolen in the 3800 block at 12:49 p.m. Thursday.
* Howard Avenue: A report of playground equipment having been vandalized in the 3800 block at 12:49 p.m. Thursday.
NEWPORT BEACH
* Balboa Coves: A swastika was spray painted on a planter in the 10 block between 8:30 p.m. Sunday and 7 a.m. Monday.
* West Coast Highway: A wallet containing $500 was stolen in the 2000 block at 9 p.m. Sunday.
PLACENTIA
* East Yorba Linda Boulevard: Two male juveniles were detained for curfew violations at 3:32 a.m. Monday.
SAN CLEMENTE
* Avenida del Presidente: A woman reported someone entered her apartment and stole her purse while she slept in the 3200 block at 4 a.m. Saturday. The woman said she left the front door open for a pet.
* Calle Andalucia: A woman reported garden statues were stolen from her front yard in the 3600 block at 7 a.m. Saturday. The theft allegedly occurred overnight.
TUSTIN
* Browning Avenue: An arson was reported in the 14000 block at 7:14 a.m. Monday.
* West Main Street: A car theft was reported in the 600 block at 7:26 a.m. Monday.

Authorities from the following cities did not release incident reports: Anaheim, Brea, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Huntington Beach, Irvine, Laguna Beach, La Habra, La Palma, Orange, Santa Ana, Seal Beach, Westminster and Yorba Linda.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Department makes incident reports available on the Web. Go to https://www.ocsd.org and click on “Sheriff’s Blotter.” Incident reports are updated every few minutes and cover the cities of Dana Point, Laguna Hills, Laguna Niguel, Laguna Woods, Lake Forest, Mission Viejo, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton and Villa Park, as well as the county’s unincorporated areas.
