Seattle Bank Robber Fatally Shot by Police

SEATTLE — Police shot to death a bank robber suspect who wounded an officer in a shootout Thursday while a second suspect escaped, a spokeswoman said.
The officer, identified only as a three-year veteran on the force, was hit by three bullets in his arm and shoulders and was reported in stable condition at Harborview Medical Center.
The dead suspect was identified as a 25-year-old male from Tukwila, just south of Seattle.
