Officer Terry Kim was named the city’s Officer of the Year during ceremonies held recently. Kim is a five-year veteran of the force. He is the department’s only canine officer.
Other ceremony honorees included: Officer Art Wright, who received the department’s Top Gun Award, and Charlotte Deardorff, who was recognized for her work as police dispatcher.
