Some motorists are experiencing delays in their morning commute on Harbor Boulevard because of an $835,000 face lift along the thoroughfare. But city officials said the project, which is expected to be finished in April, is routine.
“The only reason you notice [the traffic] more is probably because it’s on one of the busiest streets in Fullerton,” said Don Hoppe, assistant city engineer.
The construction, between Bastanchury Road and Las Palmas Drive, includes removing and replacing asphalt, replacing damaged curbs, gutters and sidewalks, adjusting water valves and planting about 70 trees.
