Center Expands Women’s Hospital

Saddleback Memorial Medical Center has expanded its Women’s Hospital.
The hospital opened 15 new beds last week, adding to 24 birthing suites and 19 beds in the infant special-care unit. The expanded space will be used by post-partum patients and women recovering from hysterectomies, mastectomies and other surgical procedures.
The expansion also added examination rooms, a nursery, a family waiting room and childbirth education center. Saddleback Women’s Hospital also houses a fetal diagnostic center and the Saddleback Breast Center.
