Dance
Founded in 1971, Pilobolus Dance Theatre combines dance, gymnastics and performance art into a unique theater experience. The company, which works collaboratively in its creations, will perform four works: “Tsu-Ku-tsu” (music by Leonard Eto), “Femme Noir,” “Gnomen” and “Aeros” (all three danced to music by Paul Sullivan). “Gnomen” is dedicated to the memory of Pilobolus dancer Jim Blank, who died of complications from AIDS in 1996.
* Pilobolus Dance Theatre, Irvine Barclay Theatre, 4242 Campus Drive. 8 p.m. $35 to $40. (Half-price tickets for students with ID.) (949) 854-4646.
