LA VERNE — The body of a 72-year-old man was found Tuesday in a ravine in Marshall Canyon.
The family of John Zsenyuk of Glendora reported him missing when he failed to return Monday evening from one of his frequent trips to the canyon, where he liked to collect errant golf balls shot outside Marshall Canyon Golf Course, said Glendora Police Sgt. John Maycock.
After a seven-hour search, bloodhounds and members of a Sheriff’s Department mountain rescue team found the body about 4:30 a.m., said La Verne Police Lt. Darryle Seube.
There were no signs of foul play, Seube said.
