Friday is the deadline to submit applications to run for City Council. So far only incumbents Richard Freschi and Patricia Bortle have submitted applications. If there are no challengers for the two seats, the council could decide to skip an election altogether. Those interested in running should contact City Clerk Kathy Adrian at (714) 998-1500.
