The Children’s Museum at La Habra will pay tribute to some of the city’s earliest residents Sunday during a walk-through of the historical exhibit “Grandma Wore a Pinafore.”
The Old Settlers’ Historical Society, many of whose members have been residents since the city was founded in 1925, will be treated to a special showing of the museum exhibit, which showcases everyday life in the 1920s.
Museum officials invited historical society members to bring any tools, treasures or family heirlooms dating to that era as a way of connecting the exhibit to present-day residents.
The Children’s Museum at La Habra, 301 S. Euclid St., is open from 1 to 5 p.m.
