East L.A. Outslugs Santa Ana, 18-17

Santa Ana College gave up nine runs in the ninth inning and lost, 18-17, to East Los Angeles in a Fullerton baseball tournament game Friday at Santa Ana College.
The Dons used five pitchers in the ninth, giving up two walks and five hits, and hitting two batters.
C.J. Wilson provided the offense for Santa Ana (29-5-1) with two home runs, six runs batted in and four runs scored.
In Orange Empire Conference softball:
Riverside 10, Orange Coast 3--Kimberly Guillen, Tasha Thurmond and Angella Valdez had first-inning RBIs for host Orange Coast (17-24, 6-14).
