Candidates for the Miss La Habra Pageant have been selected and will be announced at 6 p.m Saturday at the La Habra Community Center, 101 W. La Habra Blvd.
Sponsored by the Lion’s Club, the contestants, ranging from 17 to 21 years old, will be judged in sport wear, evening wear and interview categories. The judges are looking for young ladies with good character and a willingness to contribute to the city.
The selected queen will receive about $500, and four princesses will be awarded about $250 each.
