Local athletes ages 7 to 15 will be able to represent their town at an annual countywide track and field meet in May.
Student track and field athletes from Mission Viejo and Trabuco Hills high schools will help train Lake Forest’s team for the Orange County Municipal Athletic Assn. meet May 13.
This is the first year that Lake Forest will enter a team in the meet, which usually draws about 1,000 young competitors from around the county.
Children on Lake Forest’s team can train to run in either individual or relay races and for other events such as high jump, long jump, shotput and softball throw.
